And Mother\'s just watching the entire thing at the side with an amused look on her face.

Mnnghhh… Why is Mother bullying me now… She definitely already figured this out from the start and thought that it would be amusing to watch this unfold and chose to do nothing about it…

I cleared my throat, "Ahem… I would like to focus on trying to conquer the Dungeon…"

The Ifrit looked at me with a face of concern, "You wish to challenge our Master?"

"Well… To be more precise, I want to meet him I guess?"

"So that you could challenge him and take his place as the owner of this Dungeon?" The Trapping Arachnid asked.

I tilted my head at the question, "Do you want me to?"

The Gnome poked her fingers together, "If… If you do become the new Dungeon Master… Could you keep us?"

"Eh? Umm… As opposed to?"

"Removing all of us to replace us with other monsters?" The Ifrit explained.

Ah…. I guess I could have done something like that as well if I were to take over this Dungeon… But there\'s just one problem though…

"I don\'t intend to take over as the Dungeon Master here," I admitted.

The Ifrit tilted her head slightly, "In that case… Why does Mistress wish to meet Master?"

"I just want to talk to him and probably ask him about some stuff, that\'s all."

The Gnome jumped up excitedly, "In that case, should I bring Mistress to meet him right now?"

"Eh? You can do that?"

"Of course! Master gave me a skill that allowed me to move from floor to floor however I liked! This skill was meant to help me rewire all the others that Master had created to implement his new rule. If Mistress wishes for it, I can bring you to the final floor right now!"

I looked back at Mother who simply smiled and nodded at me, prompting me to turn back to the Gnome.

"Alright then… Could you bring us there?"

She shuffled her feet, "If… If I do that… Could I ask Mistress for a reward? Master… He would give me a reward when I do things for him…"

"Err… I suppose I could… What kind of reward does he give you?"

"He gives me really nice pats with his hands! Sometimes he would pat my head and other times… He would pat somewhere nicer… Like here…"

She lowered her hands to cup her crotch, leaving no room for doubt what kind of \'pat\' she was talking about.

I scratched my cheek, "Umm… So when you say reward…"

"Yes, I would like to receive Mistress\'s pats too if you will allow it!"

The Ifrit quickly jumped in, "Hey! That\'s not fair! I want Mistress\'s pats too!"

"That is my mate the both of you are talking about. If anyone should receive her pats, it should be me!"

The three of them seemed to be ready to start fighting again but were interrupted by Mother clearing her throat at the side.

"Girls~ If you wish to obtain a reward from my little one… Shouldn\'t you do something deserving of the reward first? She has chosen to be our guide and that is worth being rewarded for. What about you two?"

The two Monster Girls turned to look at each other.

The Ifrit was the first to turn back to me, "I can be your bodyguard, Mistress! I will protect you even if Master chooses to fight you!"

Oh wow… Really? She would actually go that far and turn against her creator just because of this?

I mean… I know I probably already maxed out her affections for me by doing what I did because of the settings this guy gave the Monster Girls here… But I\'d think he would at least retain some level of loyalty for them…

I\'m not even sure if I should be concerned that these girls were calling me \'mistress\' but yet they could just as easily turn against me just as they had turned against the Off-Worlder.

Then again… I suppose it\'s not like I could change anything about it so I guess we\'ll just have to deal with it if that happens…

Putting that aside, the Trapping Arachnid seemed to also share the same idea as the Ifrit as she added, "I can serve as your bodyguard as well, my mate! I shall make sure nothing happens to you! Then after that… We can go find a nice place to mate!"

Truth be told… I don\'t actually need any of them as I felt they were all just going to be burdens instead of help if it came down to a fight between myself and the Off-Worlder.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

But Mother seemed to have other ideas because she clapped her hands together and giggled, "Wonderful! In that case, let us meet with the master of this Dungeon first and if all of you do a good enough job, I\'m sure my little one will not be against giving all of you a reward!"

The three of them seemed to like that idea a lot and they looked willing to put aside their differences for now.

I don\'t know if I should be impressed or scared that Mother managed to control them so easily like that…

All of us then turned to the Burrow Gnome, who had then started walking towards the hole she had made when she first appeared here.

"Through here, everyone. Please stay close or you might get swallowed up by the earth as we are walking through the tunnel."

The Arachnid frowned at the size of said tunnel, "How do you expect me to fit through that?"

The Gnome turned back to scowl at her, "It\'s magic. Just walk to it and the hole will get bigger on its own. How do you not know this?"

"Do I look like a Gnome to you?! I\'ll tie you up and make you watch me mate with my mate if you don\'t shut up!"

Geez… Now it feels like I\'m stuck in the middle of a lovers\' quarrel instead…

I decided not to comment on it and simply took Mother by her hand again and went into the tunnel, which was interestingly made out of earth instead of flesh like the ground on this particular floor of the Dungeon.

Mother giggled softly when I grasped her hand but said nothing more and simply followed behind me while the Gnome led the way, ignoring the Ifrit and Arachnid who were still expressing their dissatisfaction behind us.

The tunnel seemed to continue forward for quite a distance before a hole literally appeared out of thin air, marking the end of the tunnel.

The hole seemed to open up to an empty corridor so I didn\'t really hesitate to follow the Gnome out of the hole either.

Stepping out, it seemed like we had arrived right in front of a boss room but the doors were closed shut for some reason. Experience exclusive tales on empire

Usually there wouldn\'t even be a door and if someone else was challenging the boss, then what we\'ll see would be a fog wall.

So… Maybe this wasn\'t a Boss floor?

The Burrow Gnome didn\'t hesitate and went straight up to the closed doors, stopping in front of it and a little bit to the side as though she was indicating I should take over the lead.

Just to be sure, I pointed at the door in front of us, "Your master is right behind this door… Right?"

The Gnome nodded, "That is correct Mistress. Do I… Umm… Do I get a reward now?"

Mother answered her before I could, "Ara? We have not even confirmed if you led us to a trap and you already want a reward? Ufufufu~ How daring of you~"

The Ifrit and Arachnid immediately took the opportunity Mother gave to start berating the Gnome as well.

"That\'s right! You could have led us here to trap us and then take Mistress all for yourself!"

"To think we had someone so greedy amongst us… We should let Master know and let her be punished!"

The Gnome bristled at her two \'colleagues\', "I did not! If you worry so much about it being a trap, then how about I go ahead of you to prove it?!"

"Yeah! Go ahead!"

"We\'ll see if you\'re really lying to us then!"

I did not miss the fact that both the Ifrit and Arachnid moved a little closer to me, though it doesn\'t seem like they were doing it to protect me but more like they were preparing to grab me and make a run for it or something.

I don\'t think this is a trap but I guess it doesn\'t hurt to be careful…

The Gnome walked up to the door and pushed open it, the doors opening without a sound despite their size.

Light shone through the gap of the door and… The Gnome disappeared.

Err… Ok? Is that a feature or is this a trap?
